Permaculture Paradise Institute is a social enterprise, demonstration and training center that promotes permaculture systems in Malawi located in Langa village Mchinji district. Established in 2017 (February) Permaculture Paradise provides low cost social economic and ecologically sound trainings to local farmers, entrepreneurs, nongovernmental organizations as well as government. PPI realizes the need for promoting and uplifting the welfare of vulnerable Malawians and other vulnerable people for the purpose of strengthening their family unit, alleviating poverty, diseases and fighting all forms of economic, social, political and religious barriers together with the desire to curb the problem of illiteracy among the peasantry population in general through promotion of informal education. We realize the need for promoting informal education in Malawi in order to alleviate current predicates and ecological chaos.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Permaculture Paradise was founded by a local couple Luwayo Biswick and Grace Davison, the young couple decided to quit job and take Permaculture as a full time business, to create a model and future where majority of the people in Malawi become mind Independent with positive self esteem that would create possibilities of an effective life

Impacts

The project helps address issues to do with hunger malnutrition, poverty, resource depletion, mitigate issues to do with climate change while helping the community generate income since after they sell produce from the gardens as well as rabbits which were given by the project

Summary

We offer onsite technical support for implementation of permaculture and agro ecology or any support customized in accord to client’s need. Our products and services are offered and open to all sorts of people according to their background and the context in which they work with. To this regard in order to reach out and meet the needs of our clients regardless of literacy levels our products and services are always flexible and customized without refraining boundaries
